Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Bidlane operates the website at bidlane.site and the software described on it. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Bidlane, and "you" means anyone who visits this website or authorises our software to access an account they control.
This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and how you can have it deleted. If you have questions, contact us at contact@bidlane.site.
2. Information we collect
We collect three kinds of information:
- Information you give us. When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, such as your name, company and the content of your message.
- Information collected automatically. Our web server records standard technical logs for every request: IP address, user agent, the URL requested and a timestamp. These logs are used to serve the site and keep it secure.
- Advertising account data you authorise. If you authorise our application to access an advertising account you control through the Google Ads API, we receive the data that the granted scope allows, typically campaign, ad group, keyword, budget and performance metrics. We do not receive your Google password, and we cannot read data from accounts that have not authorised us.
We do not collect payment card numbers on this website, and this website has no user accounts and no login.
3. How we use information
- To operate, maintain and secure this website.
- To provide and support the services you or your organisation requested, such as building, running and reporting on advertising campaigns.
- To answer your questions and communicate with you about your account.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. Google API Services and Limited Use
Our applications use Google APIs, including the Google Ads API, to read and manage advertising data only on accounts that have explicitly authorised us.
Bidlane's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In particular, we do not sell Google user data, we do not use it for advertising, we do not use it to train or improve generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and we do not allow humans to read it except where you have given your consent, where it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your information, and we do not share Google user data with advertising platforms or data brokers. We share information only:
- with service providers who host our infrastructure and process data for us under contract;
- with the organisation whose account you asked us to work on, where you are acting for that organisation;
- where required by law, regulation or valid legal process; or
- as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will tell you before your data becomes subject to a different policy.
6. Data security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege permissions to protect the information we hold. Authorisation tokens that our software uses to call Google APIs are stored on access-controlled servers and are revoked when you remove our access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
7. Data retention
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected. Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted or aggregated. Advertising account data is kept while you use our services and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. When you ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our active systems and from backups on our normal backup rotation.
8. Your rights: access, correction and deletion
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and you can ask us to stop using it. Email contact@bidlane.site and we will respond within 30 days.
You can also revoke our access at any time in your Google Account permissions page. Once our access is revoked, we can no longer read data from that account.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
This website is a set of static pages and does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie or write standard server logs to deliver the pages and protect the service.
10. International transfers
We may process information in countries other than the one you live in. When we do, we use appropriate safeguards for the transfer and apply this policy to the information wherever it is processed.
11. Children's privacy
This website and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. The current version is always available at https://bidlane.site/privacy.
13. Contact us
For any question about this policy or your data, email contact@bidlane.site. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.
